Light based expression vector- pSB1Pe

pSB1c3 is changed to pSB1Pe by replacing the antibiotic gene with proteorhodopsin. The plasmid also has a carbon stress promoter- PcstA and double terminator - B0015. The EXSP sites are placed within the promoter and the double terminator region so as to allow cloning of recombinant protein into the plasmid and expressing the same in low carbon conditions.
